The Kenya University Students Organization has confirmed the receipt of 3.32 billion shillings in disbursements for first and second-year university students for the 2024/25 academic year. The university students hailing the government for the timely intervention to enable studies to proceed. According to the Ministry of Education, the funds, released through the Higher Education Loans Board are intended to support students' upkeep, with each student receiving between 40,000 shillings and 60,000 shillings.
