Conservationists, Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officers, community members, private conservancies, and personnel from the British Army Training Unit in Kenya (BATUK) joined hands to clean River Nanyuki as part of activities marking International Rangers Day in Laikipia County. During the two-hour exercise, participants collected more than one tonne of garbage, highlighting the growing threat posed by plastic pollution and poor waste disposal to one of the county's key water sources.
