The County Government of Nairobi is under pressure to settle pension arrears owed to former employees of the defunct Nairobi City Council. In an advisory opinion, the Commission of Administrative Justice said the County inherited all obligations of the former Local Authority, including pension liabilities, and cannot therefore shift responsibility.
