Kenya Reinsurance Corporation has received a temporary reprieve after the Milimani High Court declined to certify as urgent an application seeking to halt the onboarding and operationalisation of its newly appointed board. In directions issued on July 17, 2026, Patricia Mande Nyaundi declined to grant the conservatory orders sought by the petitioner, leaving no legal barrier to prevent Kenya Re from proceeding with the onboarding of its new board members.
