Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry, Deborah Barasa, has advocated for political unity among leaders from the Western region as a platform for economic development as opposed to retrogressive politics. Speaking in Kiminini, CS Barasa noted that the region stands a better chance of enjoying development if political leaders unite and back the re-election of President William Ruto, saying he has initiated several development projects in the region.
