The CS for sports, Salim Mvurya, officially launches the construction of Mumbi Stadium in Murang’a

The cabinet secretary for sports, Salim Mvurya, has officially launched the construction of Mumbi Stadium in Murang’a County. The modern facility, set to have a 10,000-seater capacity, is expected to boost grassroots talent development and expand sporting opportunities in the region, in line with the government’s drive to strengthen sports infrastructure nationwide. The project is estimated to cost ksh.800 million, with the contractor given one year to complete the construction.
