DCI probes mass grave in Kericho cemetery

Nyamira County is on the spotlight with the probe by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, establishing that all the 33 exhumed from the Kericho mass grave were from the Nyamira County Referral Hospital mortuary. Director of DCI, Mohammed Amin, who toured the cemetery in Kericho County, says the hospital management and CCTV footage retrieved from the morgue confirm the same, contrary to claims by the Nyamira governor. DCI detectives are zeroing in on operations at the hospital morgue, where more infant bodies are believed to have been released with no proper records.
