According to Gem sub-county police Commander Mr. Charles Wafula, the two were shot as police tried to contain rowdy protestors surging towards the police post, hurling stones. And as Kamau Mwangi reports, the police had to fire in the air to repel tens of residents of Sang’alo, in Kanduyi, who attempted to storm the police station. The locals were protesting rising insecurity in the area.
