Mount Kenya University (MKU) has officially launched the University Integrated Resource Platform (UNIRP), a cutting-edge ICT system aimed at streamlining operations and propelling the institution into the digital era.
The launch event was graced by MKU Board of Directors Chairman Prof. Simon Gicharu, Vice Chancellor Prof. Deogratius Jaganyi, ICT Head John Gicharu, university leadership, and students.
UNIRP is designed to enhance staff workflow, enable efficient administration, and support MKU’s leadership as the UN SDG 9 Hub Chair on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. With integrated AI capabilities, the system offers students real-time results, personalized learning tracking, and instant academic feedback—setting a new standard in higher education digital solutions.
