Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has said the government is implementing reforms to boost coffee farming through the distribution of seedlings, subsidised pesticides and expanded cultivation, expressing confidence that these measures will increase farm-gate prices from the current Sh120–Sh160 per kilogramme to between Sh250 and Sh300 within the next year.
