EACC arrests traffic police officer in Kilifi County over bribery

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission officers in Mtwapa, Kilifi county, are holding a traffic police officer arrested on suspicion of receiving a bribe. The EACC Coast North Regional Director Jarso Dida says Corporal Mazera Haron was found with 100 shillings notes totaling to 13,750 shillings in his pocket along the mtwapa-Malindi road. The officer is expected to be arraigned at the Malindi Ant—Anti-Corruption Court today.
