Education stakeholders are urging increased investment in student innovation, saying the Competency-Based Education (CBE/CBC) curriculum is empowering learners with practical skills to solve real-world challenges.
Speaking during the annual Kids' Conference at JKUAT, education leaders emphasized the need to support students in transforming their innovative ideas into commercially viable products. They noted that nurturing creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving from an early age will help prepare young people for the future.
Students also called for more opportunities to showcase their innovations, expressing confidence that young innovators can contribute meaningful solutions to challenges facing society.
