A grieving family in Embu County is appealing to the government and well-wishers for assistance to repatriate the body of their daughter, Fridah Kageni Murage, from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Kageni passed away on July 9 while receiving treatment, and her body has remained in a hospital morgue as medical and morgue bills continue to accumulate. The family says it cannot afford the costs, which include more than KSh 300,000 in hospital and morgue fees, as well as the expenses required to bring her body back to Kenya for burial.
