As the world commemorates international ocean day today, experts in the industry have singled out marine pollution as the main threat to sea life. Kenya marine and fisheries research institute(kemfri) experts have stated that despite the government putting an end to plastics, pollution and plastic waste remains a great menace. Additionally, climate change has also been mentioned among the issues that contribute to damage of the coral and decrease of fish numbers in the sea.
