Extension of grade 10 admission deadline lapses today

Hundreds of grade 10 learners from across the country are still stuck at home after failing to raise the required fees A spot check by Citizen TV, established that some chiefs advised parents to take their children to the nearest C4 schools for grade 10 admission in order to beat the extended deadline. In Kericho, residents rounded up would be grade 10 learners in Tulwet village in anticipation of securing admission with the help of the area chief. The governmnet had begun a mop up exercise led by chiefs, in a bid to ensure more learners are admitted to grade 10 by the lapse of the deadline today
