Families, cancer patients and flood victims reflect on struggles in 2025

The grief of families who lost loved ones during the protests against the 2024 finance bill still lingers, etched on their faces even a year later, as the commemorations of those events reopened old wounds. The year 2025 also provided an opportunity to shed light on the suffering of women battling cancer, alongside the struggles of families forced to live in floodwaters in Naivasha.
