Head of Public Service Felix Koskei has made a clarion call to Kenyans to rally behind the president’s directive of planting 15 billion trees in the next ten years, in a bid to combat effects of climate change being witnessed in the country. Koskei who was speaking during a tree planting exercise in Chepalungu forest, Bomet County in commemoration of the world desertification and drought day, emphasized the need to increase the forest cover by utilizing degraded lands and adopting a forest, a move that will restore the ecosystem.
