FINAS SUMMIT ENDS WITH STRONG CALL FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRI FOOD FINANCING AND COOPERATIVE LED GROWTH

The Financing Agri-Food Systems Sustainably (FINAS) Summit concluded with a strong call for greater collaboration, innovative financing, and inclusive policies to transform Africa's agri-food systems. Speaking through Principal Secretary Susan Auma Mang'eni during the closing ceremony, Cabinet Secretary Dr. Wycliffe Oparanya reaffirmed the Kenyan government's commitment to strengthening cooperative societies as a key pathway to expanding affordable agricultural finance for smallholder farmers.
