The Football Kenya Federation has stepped up efforts to strengthen grassroots football by partnering with county governments to expand talent development nationwide. Following a meeting with Council of Governors Chairperson Ahmed Abdullahi on Tuesday, FKF said the partnership will enhance collaboration between its branches and county governments. The discussions focused on creating sustainable partnerships to support grassroots football through improved competitions, talent identification, and youth development programmes. FKF said county governments have a critical role to play in supporting local leagues and creating pathways for young players to progress through the football pyramid.
