Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i will present himself at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations Head Quarters Tuesday 7Th of March. Matiang'i is expected to answer to allegations of publication of false information in regard to an invasion and raid at his home in Karen on February 8th, 2023. . Matiang's defense team spent the better part of Monday afternoon at the DCI Headquarters, where they had officially gone to present a written request seeking to reschedule the appointment from the initial 9:30am time to 8: AM due to work engagements. The former Interior CS flew back to the country Saturday night after a two-week trip to the United Kingdom to attend to family matters.
