Four arrested during an illicit brew crackdown in Kakamega and Vihiga

Four suspects were arrested during a crackdown on illicit brews in Vihiga and Kakamega counties by a multi- agency security team.During the operation, which was led by Western regional Police Commander Issa Mohamud, thousands of litres of illicit brews and brewing equipment were seized in the process. This as Deputy Inspector General Eliud Lagat issued a tough warning on drug traffickers saying their days are numbered.
