Fresh petition filed over Kenya Re management

A fresh petition has been filed at the Milimani High Court seeking intervention in the management of Kenya Reinsurance Corporation. The petitioners allege mismanagement at the state insurer, citing claims of intimidation, micromanagement, financial impropriety and abuse of office by the Chief Executive Officer. They argue that unless the court intervenes, the corporation risks significant financial losses and further governance challenges.
