Gachagua blames IG Kanja, IEBC over Ol Kalou poll chaos

Democracy for the Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua has accused Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja of orchestrating the chaotic scenes witnessed in Ol Kalou earlier today, alleging that security officers were used to intimidate voters and undermine the will of the people. In a strongly worded statement, the former Deputy President also launched a scathing attack on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), faulting the electoral body for what he termed its silence as alleged voter rights violations unfolded during the by-election.
