Gachagua faults Murkomen over Ol Kalou violence

DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua has accused Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen of failing to ensure credible investigations into the deadly violence witnessed during the Ol Kalou by-election, claiming the government is downplaying the incidents and avoiding accountability. Gachagua also unveiled what he described as a grassroots vote-protection strategy ahead of the 2027 General Election, saying thousands of young people will be mobilised to safeguard every DCP vote at polling stations across the country.
