The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has launched the national skills inventory which aims to match unemployed youths to relevant jobs in the market both locally and abroad. The government currently faced with an onslaught from the opposition now says the new initiative will target 1 million jobs locally, in UAE, Europe, and Western countries with employers now mandated to submit annual employment returns by February 29th.
