The Government has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable and climate-smart agriculture as a key strategy for achieving food and nutrition security, increasing farmer incomes, and building resilience against climate change.
Speaking during the opening of the annual Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Trade Fair in Nakuru, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said the government is working with county governments, research institutions and development partners to equip farmers with modern farming technologies and climate-smart practices.
