Governors demand respect from senators

Council of Governors chairman Ahmed Abdullahi is demanding decorum from the Senate Public Accounts Committee, which has been at loggerheads with county heads. Abdullahi has condemned the hostile attitude of national oversight bodies, asserting that while governors do not fear accountability, they require a professional process that respects their office rather than what he calls the current undignified handling. The C.O.G chairman is pushing for an increase in allocations to counties.
