Govt floats Ksh.7B tender for Nithi bridge construction

The Kenya National Highways Authority, KENHA, has advertised the alignment of the notorious Nithi Bridge in Tharaka Nithi County. KENHA says the tender will be uploaded in the electronic government procurement system, which will only allow end-to-end access. President William Ruto had yesterday hinted that the cost of the construction of the Nithi bridge has been estimated at 7 billion shillings, with its construction expected to be completed in under two years.
