The government is intensifying its National drive to plant 15 billion trees by 2032 by scaling up seedling production across the country. Environment Cabinet Secretary Deborah Baraza inspected a key nursery in Kiambu County as the push to restore forests, create jobs and fight climate change gathers pace. The nursery, which sits on an eight acres piece of land is expected to produce up to eight million seedlings annually.
