Gov’t releases Ksh.23.4b in capitation to public schools

The government has released Sh23.4B capitation for public schools, ahead of schools reopening for second term next week on Monday. Speaking when he appeared before the National Assembly Public Accounts Committee today, Basic Education Principal Secretary Julius Bitok said schools remain seriously underfunded due to lack of allocation from parliament.
