The Harambee Starlets have secured a place in the final of the FIFA Women’s Series after defeating India 2–0 on Saturday afternoon at Nyayo National Stadium.
The Starlets took an early lead in the second minute through Martha Amunyolet before Terry Engesha doubled the advantage in the 57th minute. In another match played earlier at the same venue, Australia thrashed Malawi 5–0.
In the final scheduled for Wednesday at the same venue, Kenya will face Australia, while Malawi and India will battle it out in the third-place playoff.
