IEBC launches 30-day drive to register 6.5 million voters

The enhanced Continuous voter registration exercise began nationwide, with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission targeting the listing of 6.5 million new voters. The first phase of the exercise, which is expected to run until 28th April 2026, began in all the wards across the 47 counties. IEBC chairperson Erastus Ethekon is calling for stakeholder collaboration in mobilizing Kenyans to register as voters.
