IEBC urges pre-2012 voters to re-register amid new enrolments

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has asked individuals who had previously enrolled as voters before 2012 to present themselves for fresh registration, with Commission Chairperson Erastus Ethekon saying they are not part of the current biometric register of voters. This comes as IEBC announced it had registered an additional 344,316 new voters in its ongoing enhanced continuous voter registration exercise, taking the number of new voters enlisted since the process began on 29th September to over 600,000.
