Interior CS Murkomen announces a security operation to flush out bandits in Mukogodo Forest

Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has announced that the government will conduct a security operation in the Mukogodo forest to flush out bandits as well as recover stolen livestock. Speaking at Kurum in Laikipia North, Murkomen said the operation will commence in the next 48 hours. The CS also cautioned those living in the forest to vacate. Police Boss Douglas Kanja assured residents that the operation will be meticulous to ensure a lasting peaceful co-existence.
