Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has urged the Chiefs and their assistants in Trans Nzoia County to intensify the war against illegal brew and drug abuse. Speaking at AIC Riwo Church in Cherangany constituency, the CS said Trans Nzoia is among the counties with the highest prevalence of illicit alcohol and drugs in the country, underscoring the need for concerted efforts by the government, the church, and the community to address the menace.
