Interior PS Omollo warns leaders against violence in political campaigns

Leaders from across the political divide have called on Kenyans to avoid chaos, as temperatures pick up ahead of the 2027 general elections. Speaking in Kisumu at the funeral of George Were who died in a helicopter crash in Nandi, internal security PS Raymond Omollo, said that the government will round up sponsors and perpetrators of violence. On her part, PLP party leader Martha Karua cautioned the political class, against using money to woe the youth to engage in violent acts.
