Iran vows not to surrender as attacks enter second week

Iran has vowed it will not surrender as the United States, Israel and Iran war enters its second week. This as airstrikes and retaliatory missile attacks have intensified, raising fears that the conflict could escalate into a wider regional war across the Middle East. In the last few hours, several Gulf countries including Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have reportedly been struck by Iranian missiles targeting areas hosting United States military bases. Despite an apology by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Gulf neighbors following Saturday’s attacks, Iran has maintained that it will continue targeting American military installations if strikes against its territory persist. Iran’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Seyed Ali Mousavi, says Tehran will not back down, warning that Iran is prepared to defend itself against what it describes as ongoing aggression from the United States and Israel.
