Three journalists were injured today during the unveiling of former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua's Democracy for the Citizens Party DCP, as Gachagua's security team descended on them with kicks and blows, and forced them to delete footage which captured the chaos that erupted soon after the unveiling of the party. The security team also fired live rounds in the air as they tried to disperse some rowdy goons who wanted to forcefully access the party headquarters, along Musa Gitau Road, Lavington.
