Chief Justice Martha Koome, who is the chairperson of the commission, said the panel settled on Justice Warsame after he demonstrated the qualities required under the constitution for a judge of the Supreme Court. The Court of Appeal judge has been in legal practice for 32 years, including 22 years serving as a judge in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
