Junior School teachers threaten to down tools as schools reopen

Junior secondary school (JSS) teachers across Kenya, led by KUPPET officials in counties such as Machakos, Tharaka Nithi, and West Pokot, have officially issued a nationwide strike notice set to begin on Monday, April 27, to protest the government's failure to provide permanent employment and adequate welfare.
