Kanja, Amin appear in court over alleged abduction case

Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja and DCI Director Mohamed Amin on Monday honoured court summons issued by the High Court to appear in court physically following the alleged abduction of three men last month. The two security chiefs, however, did not take to the witness stand after Justice Alexander Muteti directed that they will be invited only when issues arise from a habeas corpus case requiring their direct responses. Meanwhile, the families of Macmilan Kiarie, Evans Otieno and Michal Oloo testified in the case, detailing how they learnt of the alleged abductions of their loved ones, who are still missing a month later.
