Kaya elders in Kilifi County have launched a grassroots campaign aimed at reducing teenage pregnancies through traditional leadership and cultural mentorship.
Under the Malindi District Cultural Association (MADCA), the elders unveiled the Magarini Moro Declaration, committing to take awareness campaigns to villages, schools, churches, mosques, and community forums. They are urging parents, teachers, religious leaders, and communities to prioritize education and protect children from early sexual activity.
