ECHOES OF PEACE
The government is seeking to deepen its collaboration with media houses as part of efforts to foster peace and national cohesion. Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal Secretary Stephen Isaboke, while underscoring the nexus between media and culture, said strategic partnerships, both local and international, will promote dialogue and enhance public understanding of government development initiatives. Isaboke made the remarks during the screening of The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru, a Chinese-produced film honouring the forgotten heroes of World War II.
