A Nairobi court has deferred a decision on bail for a woman charged with grievous harm against a minor, pending a pre-bail report to assess the circumstances of both the victim and the accused. Mary Njeri Makumi is accused of causing severe injuries to a seven-year-old child in an incident said to have occurred on New Year’s Day in Upper Hill, Nairobi.
