Kenya Bureau of Standards acting Managing Director Esther Ngari says the National Environment Management Authority, Kenya Revenue Authority and Office of the Attorney General are responsible for the illegal release of contaminated sugar in the Market. Ngari told the National Assembly Trade Industry and Cooperatives Committee that KEBS has only managed to recover 52 out of the 300 tonnes of the killer sugar from the market.
