Kenya's justice sector has launched sweeping reforms aimed at strengthening the fight against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), accelerating digital transformation and enhancing preparedness for the 2027 General Election.
Speaking during the 38th National Council on the Administration of Justice (NCAJ) Council Meeting in Mombasa, Chief Justice Martha Koome announced plans to prioritise amendments to the Sexual Offences Act, improve coordination among justice institutions and modernise service delivery through technology.
