Kenyans celebrate 62nd Jamhuri Day amid drought concerns

Kenyans marked the 62nd Jamhuri Day with celebrations in the counties that also highlighted pressing local challenges and calls for reforms. In Narok, Samburu, Wajir, Mandera, Makueni, Kwale, and Nyeri counties, issues of drought, drug abuse, gender based violence, and water shortage were highlighted as pressing concerns in the regions.
