Kenya’s forest conservation efforts are bearing fruit. This is after the deployment of over 2,600 rangers last November. According to the Kenya Forest Service, cases of illegal logging and other illegal activities in all forests across the country have drastically reduced. Apart from the deployment of rangers, the use of technology in monitoring all activities in the forest has also given a boost to the conservation efforts.
