Kenya’s tourism sector on track to contribute 10% to GDP, supports over 3 million jobs

The ministry of tourism says it’s on track to hitting the 10 percent contribution to the country gross domestic product (GDP). Cabinet secretary in the ministry of tourism, Rebecca Miano says the sector contributed more than 452 billion in 2024 and remains a major foreign-exchange earner supporting over 3 million jobs directly and indirectly
