Post-mortem examinations conducted on bodies recovered from a mass grave at Makaburini Cemetery in Kericho County have revealed that four of the 25 children exhumed from the secret grave died from head injuries. Ten were found to have died from premature birth. Government pathologist Dr. Richard Njoroge, who is leading the exercise, said the remains were in various stages of decomposition, with only a few appearing fresh. The post-mortem examination on the bodies of the eight adults is set for Friday.
